Shoko Nakazawa explores the emotional and captivating side of Kaiju, transforming the notion of “monster” into a friendly and symbolic creature, balanced between pop art and ecological narrative, which often features her characters Byron, the giant salamander; Seedlas Brother, the pre-evolution form of Byron; and Tokke, the gecko monster. Together, they embody a fusion of decadence, desire, and entropy, balanced through their symbiosis with nature.
